Jo Dorsch
Jo Dorsch is Professor and Regional Head Librarian at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), Library of the Health Sciences-Peoria. She is the course director of an online EBM course and maintains an EBM web site at www.uic.edu/depts/lib/lhsp/resources/ebm.shtml and developed and teaches a two-week online elective in Medical Informatics. She has been the recipient of multiple National Network/Libraries of Medicine awards including Disseminating the Evidence in Public Health Nursing (http://ebphn.lib.uic.edu) and several community health partnership projects. Her research interests outreach, curriculum-integrated instruction, and EBM. Jo is an active member of the Medical Library Association (MLA), in which she currently serves as the co-chair of the 2014 National Program Committee and as the JMLA Associate Editor for Case Studies. She is a Fellow of the MLA, a Distinguished Member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals, and recipient of the MLA Lucretia W. McClure Excellence in Education Award.
