The Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries (IACRL) will hold a virtual Fall/Winter Social, themed “Celebrating Our Successes”. It will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, December 8, from 2:00 to 2:45 PM CDT. All Illinois academic and research librarians are welcome to attend, regardless of whether they are members of IACRL.
Take a short break from your day to share your professional successes from 2021 with your fellow IACRL members and other Illinois academic and research librarians! In our first-ever Zoom social, come ready to share your positive news and great things that happened this year-this could be a recent publication, a successful instruction endeavor, a welcome improvement to library services-whatever you did well. In addition to learning about other librarians’ endeavors, this is a great opportunity to network with other library professionals from around the state. Besides, what’s one more Zoom meeting?
Grab a hot beverage and be prepared to cheer your fellow librarians on their successes. You are welcome to use a festive or silly Zoom background.
