A webinar about how to better serve individuals on the autism spectrum will be held on Wednesday, September 27, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM CST. Staff from the Targeting Autism program at the State Library will conduct the live webinar. This session will cover topics including what autism is, why it is important for librarians and literacy providers to know about autism and how to create an inclusive learning environment.
The online webinar will be delivered using Adobe Connect Pro. To join, go here 10 minutes prior to the webinar. Enter as a Guest and sign in with your name and your agency’s name. Be sure to test your connections prior to the webinar as directed by Adobe Connect. You will be able to listen through headphones or speakers and type in your questions. If you are unable to attend the live session, this webinar will be recorded and posted to the State Library’s website.
