The editors of the upcoming publication Cases on Establishing Effective Collaborations in Academic Libraries are seeking chapter submissions. More information is below.
Objective of the Book
The objective of this book is to identify and share the roll of the academic library in developing effective partnerships and collaborations within academia and the broader community. This collection of case studies will provide examples of successful collaborations, best practices, and innovative approaches to build and promote effective collaborations. In addition, it will spark ideas that libraries can use to further their strategic initiatives and provide models to foster collaborations and positive work environments amongst staff; and to boost the profile of the library on campus and in the broader library community.

Submission Procedure
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before Sunday, October 24, 2021, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by November 7, 2021, about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by February 21, 2022, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions here prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

- November 7, 2021: Notification of Acceptance
- February 21, 2022: Full Chapter Submission
- April 21, 2022: Review Results Returned
- June 2, 2022: Final Acceptance Notification
- June 16, 2022: Final Chapter Submission
