What would you say about health information if you had seven minutes with your medical information colleagues across the Middle East region? What pressing issues should we consider? What projects will make a difference? What tools should we be using?
The Distributed eLibrary team at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar are delighted to offer you an opportunity to submit a proposal for a Lightning Talk at our upcoming The Evolving Health Information Landscape symposium. The symposium is a one-day online event that will take place on Thursday, December 2. The Lightning Talks will be delivered live in seven-minute slots, via Zoom.
Proposals should outline projects, services, or initiatives within one of three different tracks:
- Changes to scientific publishing
- Navigating health information
- Libraries as health communicators
We invite information professionals working in healthcare, medical librarians, and other librarians interested in health information, open science, and open access to submit proposals.
For full details of submission format and to submit your proposal, go here.
Please note:
- Proposals should be 250 words or less
- Deadline for proposal submissions: Friday, September 10
- Expected notification of decisions: Friday, September 24
- Proposals from commercial entities will not be considered.
