(via Debbie Campbell, CARLI)
The CARLI Instruction Committee is seeking presenters for a panel discussion on fresh approaches to evaluating information, to be presented via webinar on Wednesday, April 1. More information is available here.
As our students grapple with various forms of alternative facts, what tools or frameworks can instruction librarians employ to help them effectively determine what’s fact, what’s fiction, and what’s somewhere in between?
Interested presenters (either individuals or groups) should submit an approximately 100-word description of the approach or strategy they’d like to discuss.
Submit your proposal here.
The deadline for submission is Tuesday, February 11.
Please contact the Committee Co-Chairs, Amy Hall (ahall17@nl.edu) or Marielle McNeal (mmmcneal@northpark.edu), or the CARLI Office (support@carli.illinois.edu) with any questions.
