Library UX Chicago is calling for presenter submissions for a Best of LibGuides event, held on November 11th, 2016 at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Share what makes your guides unique or effective, and bring ideas back to your own library!
Submissions are open to all LibGuides users, especially those who manage, create, update or assess guides. We’re also interested in talks that showcase LibGuides 2.0 customizations or migrations. Presenters who use alternatives to LibGuides (such as SubjectsPlus or homegrown systems) are also welcome to submit proposals
Speakers should expect to speak for no longer than 10 minutes, with a few minutes reserved for questions. For consideration, submit proposals to our online submission form by October 15th, 2016.
Library UX Chicago seeks to support assessment, user experience, and design thinking skills for librarians and others in the Chicagoland area. We believe there are real opportunities for building practical skills, not only by utilizing our local librarian colleagues, but also by collaborating with local groups for workshops, discussions, and the creation of connections and opportunities.
