The Program Committee invites poster, paper, lightning talk, and round table abstract proposal submissions on any health sciences librarianship topic for the 2021 South Central Chapter Annual Meeting. The meeting will be held online October 12-14 (Tuesday-Thursday). See the conference webpage for complete details.
Your presentations will make the annual meeting amazing. Please plan to share your amazing projects and successes with your regional colleagues. All topics and themes are welcome, including, but not limited to, technical services and collections, public services, education/instruction, reference, access services, interlibrary-loan, research, and more. First-time presenters at SCC are welcome!
- papers are presented live with 15 minutes to present plus 5 minutes for questions
- posters and Lightning talks are 5-minute pre-recorded videos (directions will be sent after acceptance) with live Q&A
- round tables are informal 1-hour conversations on topics you suggest and host (these conversations may be scheduled simultaneously)
Acceptance will be announced (via email to primary author) by Tuesday, September 21. Specific instructions for posters and lightning talks will be available at that time.
Proposals will undergo blind review, so be sure that your abstract is blinded (from institution/location) to ensure fair consideration. You will have the opportunity to update your abstract prior to the conference.
Submit your blinded abstracts and proposals online. Use the same form link for each unique submission. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, August 31.
If, due to network restrictions, you are unable to access the Google Form submission link, directions on how to submit via e-mail are on the conference program webpage.
