The Research Data Access and Preservation Association (RDAP) invites proposals for the program of its upcoming virtual summit on March 28-30 (Tuesday-Thursday), 2023. The RDAP Summit occurs as an affordable conference for research data support practitioners. The program includes keynotes, lightning talks, posters, and presentations. We will offer conference workshops for a small additional fee on Monday, March 27, 2023.
This year’s theme is “Building on Experience: Centering Communities in Data Creation and Access”. We encourage proposals that explore how you engage with and build communities in your data environment, how you have expanded on past successes, and how you are making data accessible for a wider range of communities.
RDAP presenters will have the opportunity to submit papers to be considered for a special issue with our partner, the Journal of eScience Librarianship (JeSLIB). Registration is free for speakers.
The proposal deadline is Friday, November 4. Decisions will be sent on Monday, November 28.
For more information, and to submit a proposal, please go here. Direct any questions to the Conference Committee Chairs, at rdapsummit@rdapassociation.org.
