The Spring, 2020, edition of the ACRL Chapter Topics Newsletter is now available. (Publication was delayed due to a number of factors.) The Newsletter contains updates from ACRL chapters around the country, including conferences and meetings, along with continuing education and professional development events. This issue also includes statements on social justice, particularly academic libraries’ role in addressing racial inequality and other barriers to equal access to library resources.
The Illinois chapter has an article on the IACRL-related events at last year’s ILA Annual Conference in Tinley Park, including the Unconference and the Luncheon and Annual Meeting. Thank you very much to Illinois State University’s Sue Franzen, who is the current IACRL Vice-President/President-Elect, for writing the article, and to the Illinois Library Association for providing the photos. To read the article, please go here.
To view other articles in this issue, including a message from new ACRL Chapters Council Chair Ali Larsen of Siena College, please go to the homepage for the Spring, 2020, issue. Past issues, some of which also contain contributions from IACRL, are available here.
