The Medical Library Association’s Hospital Library Caucus is holding the virtual discussion “Why I Love Being a Hospital Librarian in a Hospital Library” on Friday, February 14, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM CDT. No registration is required. This event is open to anyone interested, including people who do not belong to MLA.
Our panel includes five hospital librarians representing different medical systems and different roles in hospital librarianship. Each panelist will briefly share why they love doing what they do. Following the panel, we’ll open up discussion and questions for all attendees to join in.
New hospital librarians can learn a lot about the field, and veterans can reignite the fire that may have dimmed over the years. Wherever you are in your career, you’ll be sure to have a positive take-away!
