The University of Illinois at Chicago will be hosting the MLA webinar “Consumers and Evidence-Based Practice: Understanding the Evidence Behind the Headlines” on Wednesday, August 12. (UIC was one of the locations chosen to host one of two MLA webinars this month.) The session will last from 1:00 to 2:30 PM and will be viewed in Room 303 at the UIC Library of the Health Sciences, which is located at 1750 West Polk Street in Chicago. The focus of the webinar will be on looking beyond the headlines covering the latest scientific findings and, instead, evaluating the accuracy of the studies upon which those headlines are based.
Those attending the webinar will receive 1.5 hours of CE credit from MLA. More information can be found here. To register, go here.
