Join Amigos Library Services for “Library Management: Change Management”. This online course will take place on Tuesday, August 31, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM CDT.
Libraries are constantly changing and adapting for many reasons. Managers, however, are not always sure how to help their staff understand and embrace the upcoming changes. This course is designed to help you learn strategies for a successful transition, identify potential pitfalls, and anticipate staff response to a pending change in your library.
Learning Objectives
- Explain the main drivers of change in most libraries
- Devise strategies to get all levels of staff involved in bringing forth change
- Develop and implement a consistent approach to proposing change in your library
- Measure the success of the change once fully implemented
