The LILi (Lifelong Information Literacy) Web Committee is excited to invite you to our next free Show & Tell webinar! Titled “Using ChatGPT to Engage in Library Instruction? Challenges and Opportunities”, it will take place on Wednesday, February 22, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM CDT. The presenter is Dr. Ray Pun.
Arriving in November 2022, ChatGPT is a generative artificial intelligence chatbot that has emerged as a tool to create stories, essays, lists, questions, and more on almost any topic. Its impact on learning and society as a whole is still unclear but at this moment, more and more schools are banning the use of ChatGPT. This Free Show & Tell Webinar will look at ChatGPT and how this tool may be aligned to support library instruction. The session will also be an open discussion on how we can mitigate its deleterious effects on learning. (Please note: this description was not created by ChatGPT.)
The session will be recorded.
