Stony Brook University Libraries invites all to its 6th Annual Open Access Symposium: Toward Equitable Knowledge Gathering and Sharing. It is being held October 28-29 (Thursday-Friday), from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CDT each day. The event is virtual and free of charge.
Keynote Speakers
- Thursday, 10/28: Nick Shockey: Director of Programs & Engagement, Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (SPARC)
- Friday, 10/29: Michael Huerta Ph.D Associate Director of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and Director of the Office of Strategic Initiatives, NLM
- The event will include panelists and presenters from the University of Toronto, Stony Brook University, Oneonta, Cornell Medical School, and SUNY Brockport.
