Please join NNLM (Network of the National Library of Medicine) on Wednesday, August 24, for a 60-minute webinar that addresses providing mental health information to the public. Titled “Caring for the Mind: Providing Mental Health Information at Your Library”, the webinar will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 PM CDT.
Objectives
- Gain awareness of mental health issues
- Learn to respond to challenging reference questions for mental health information
- Gain awareness of mental health resources for the public
- Become aware of programming ideas for your library
This class qualifies for Medical Library Association (MLA) Consumer Health Information Specialization (CHIS) Level 1. After the session, you can claim 1 MLA CE. You don’t have to be a member of MLA, but you will need to create a free account, if you don’t already have one. Please see the MLA website for more details.
