Registration is still available for the ACRL Rare Books and Manuscripts Section (RBMS) 2023 Conference. Themed “A New Kind of Professional”, the conference will be held June 27-30 (Tuesday-Friday), 2023, at Indiana University Bloomington and virtually.

The need for greater focus on diversity, equity, and accessibility in all areas of Special Collections work, from hiring to acquisitions to researcher services, requires us all as practitioners to rethink how we recruit and retain special collections workers. At RBMS 2023, you’ll explore how we educate both new and established workers at a time when the need to reframe and reimagine our collections and audiences is even more vital.

Whether you’re in Bloomington, Indiana, or in the comfort of your own home or campus, RBMS 2023 will include opportunities to be inspired by plenary sessions, participate in a variety program formats, and engage and with speakers and attendees. Register today for the experience that’s right for you!
