Registration is still open for the IDS Project’s 13th Annual Summer Conference, which will take place on Thursday, July 27, and Friday, July 28, at the SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica, NY. This year’s conference theme is Steering the Future, Together and approximately 200 attendees are expected. The IDS Conference is packed with information and training regarding exciting new technologies and strategies for information access, resource sharing, and acquisitions and collection development. All library staff and library directors are encouraged to attend, regardless of affiliation with IDS Project.
The keynote speaker will be Peter Bae. Bae is currently working at the Princeton University Library as Circulation Services Director. He is a member of the ALA RUSA STARS Executive Committee and the International ILL Committee. He also serves as Information Coordinator of the IFLA Document Delivery and Resource Sharing Section Standing Committee. Before Princeton, he worked as an ILL librarian at the University at Albany, and Columbia University Libraries. He is interested in the issues regarding International Interlibrary Loan and Resource Sharing.
