Topical contributed papers will explore issues such as the research lifecycle, unconventional outreach strategies, altmetrics, academic library makerspaces, and the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy.
You’ll gain cutting-edge knowledge of assessment strategies, campus partnerships and collaboration, library leadership and gender, critical information literacy, data services and management, and more in our engaging panel sessions. Participate in an in-depth preconference and be challenged and inspired by three dynamic keynotes. ACRL 2017 also features a variety of formal and informal opportunities for you to network and connect with more than 3,000 of your colleagues, as well as new features and events including a conference app, Lightning Talks and Trivia Night; returning favorites such as the Headshot Studio; and a variety of volunteer, relaxation, and wellness opportunities.

Fire up colleagues in five-minute Lightning Sessions. Inspire others with quick glimpses at your latest innovations, interesting ideas, and new technologies and services. The sky is the limit! Each five-minute Lightning Talk will require you to create a maximum of 20 slides that advance automatically every 15 seconds. Submit your proposal before January 30–it’s quick and easy! The top 30 proposals will be chosen by the innovations committee. Winners will be determined by popular vote in the conference app this February.
