Join the Chicago Distance Library Services Group for our spring event and lunch on Friday, April 7 at Elmhurst College. We’ll meet for lunch at 12:30 PM at Pints, between the Metra station and the College, and our program will begin at 2:00 PM at Elmhurst College’s A.C. Buehler Library. We’re hosting a panel discussion on creating conference proposals that get accepted, just in time for the April 23 paper-presentations proposal deadline for the 2018 Distance Library Services Conference, and in plenty of time for the October 1 deadline for panel sessions, posters, and workshops.
Our panel includes the following individuals.
- Jacob Hill-Assistant Librarian, A.C. Buehler Library at Elmhurst College
- Matt Ostercamp-Director, Brandel Library at North Park University
- Jennifer Schwartz-Reference, Instruction, and Academic Engagement Librarian at DePaul University
- Susan Sword Steffens-Director, A.C. Buehler Library at Elmhurst College
The panelists have experience successfully submitting library conference proposals and reviewing them so come learn from the experts.
