The Illinois Library Association’s Best Practices Committee is charged with curating and disseminating best practices for libraries throughout the State of Illinois. We are currently seeking best practices for self-service hold options that safeguard patron privacy. The committee hopes you will take a moment to complete a survey about your library’s practices. Even if your library does not offer self-service holds, we would still like your input.
Participants have the option to receive a copy of the survey data. Unless you are requesting a copy of the survey data, your submission will be anonymous.
The survey is available here. It is estimated to take seven minutes to complete, and responses will be accepted until Friday, November 1, 2019.
