OCLC is excited to announce the 2022 OCLC Resource Sharing Conference, a virtual event. Because of your very positive feedback from the RSC21 web series, we will host another series of free virtual events that will focus on topics of interest to the interlibrary loan community. The events will take place from late March into June.
The program committee, consisting of members from the ILL community and OCLC staff, is particularly interested in creating a program series around these topics.
- controlled digital lending
- copyright
- e-book lending
- best practices for outreach and communication, use of statistics, or configuring ILL systems
Submit a Proposal
We need your help. Please consider sharing your insights and expertise with your fellow ILL professionals by submitting a presentation proposal using the form that’s linked below.
The program committee will accept proposals for four to six 90-minute presentations (approximately 60 minutes of content and 30 minutes for Q&A and open discussion to follow). If you have an idea for a shorter presentation, please submit it–we may ask you to partner with another presenter. If your presentation is selected, the program committee will work with you to agree on a presentation event date.
To submit a proposal, please go here. The deadline is Friday, February 11.
Need more time? “File for an extension” by sending Carmen Byg, OCLC Community Manager, an e-mail at bygc@oclc.org. Include the topic you’re considering and a few bullet points with details. Then send the full proposal by Wednesday, February 16, before the end of the day.
