(via RAILS)
RAILS is very interested in hearing about all of our member libraries’ activities related to EDI (equity, diversity, and inclusion) so we can share this information with other libraries via our new EDI Pulse Page on the RAILS website. We’re interested in anything and everything you’re doing. It doesn’t have to be a big multiple-year initiative (although, that’s fine too). It can be a program you ran, a workshop you held, a meeting with community leaders, a booklist you created, or something else. We are looking for all things big and small to help give your peers ideas and jumping-off points for their own EDI activities.
You can add your EDI activities through this form in the Library Examples section of the RAILS’ EDI Pulse Page. Please share. Here are a couple of examples already on the page.
- Evanston Public Library – Antiracist Resources and Reads: Lists for All Ages
- Oak Park Public Library – Anti-Racism Resources
We would also love to hear your suggestions for making the page even more helpful and informative for our members. Contact RAILS Communications (communications@railslibraries.info).
