Reminder: Voting for IACRL People’s Choice Award in Scholarly Publishing Closes Saturday, April 30

Posted on April 22, 2022 by Eric Edwards

(via Sue Franzen, IACRL Past President)

Voting is now open for the 2022 IACRL (Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries) People’s Choice Award in Scholarly Publishing. This award gives academic and research librarians throughout Illinois the opportunity to read and evaluate scholarly works by their peers and then vote on one. It also presents Illinois research and academic librarians with the opportunity to share their findings outside of a conference or other formal setting. Voting is open to all employees of Illinois academic and research libraries, consortia, and related organizations.

Find the citations, links, and ballot on the IACRL People’s Choice Award in Scholarly Publishing page. After reading the articles, vote for ONE of the entries. Please vote just once.

The deadline to vote is Saturday, April 30. IACRL will announce the winners in May. There will be a first-place, second-place, and third-place recipient. (Ties for each place are acceptable.) The winners will have the opportunity to present on their articles either in a special webinar or at a future meeting of the IACRL Journal Club.
