You are invited to participate in a research project about when and why librarians with instruction responsibilities say no to/turn down instruction opportunities. The purpose of this research study is to determine how often and why librarians with instruction responsibilities at institutions of higher education in North America say no to library instruction opportunities. The findings of this study could impact how instruction librarians manage their workloads and work boundaries. This online survey should take about 20-30 minutes to complete. Your participation in this research study is completely voluntary. You do not have to participate. You may quit at any time without any penalty to you. Your name, contact information, and identifiable characteristics will not be collected. All information collected via the survey is for the sole purpose of this research study.
