The Southern Illinois University (SIU) Medical Library in Springfield, IL, is partnering with the National Network of Libraries of Medicine – Greater Midwest Region to host the MLA webinar “Librarians Are Teachers: Applying Theory to Help Adults Learn”. The webinar will take place on Tuesday, October 13, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM CDT. While the SIU Medical Library will not be showing the webinar on-site, the Library is making 25 access codes available to anyone who is interested in viewing the webinar without having to pay the registration fee.
There is no deadline to apply, but the access codes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are interested in signing up for one, please contact Adam Roloff, Reference & Education Services Librarian, at aroloff47@siumed.edu. In the event that someone receives a code and then is unable to watch the live webinar, the code will still allow access to the webinar recording when it becomes available.
More information on the webinar’s content and presenter is available here. Please direct any questions to Adam Roloff. Thank you.
