Are you considering using WordPress to create a website for your library? Do you already have a WordPress site but want to get the most out of its features? Do you just want to know more about the advantages of using a free resource that does not require learning programming languages? Be sure not to miss ALA’s latest offering of its “Using WordPress to Build Library Websites” e-course. The course, which starts March 7 and lasts six weeks, will cover everything from the basics of WordPress itself to using the program to make your library’s website as user-friendly as possible. In particular, participants will explore the ways in which WordPress organizes content and how this can be used to make content on a library website easily accessible.
The instructor for the class is Amanda L. Goodman. For more information, and to register, click here.
