The November, 2021, issue of Library Worklife included details about the revamping of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program announced by the U.S. Department of Education. Under a limited waiver, library workers in all types of institutions may be eligible for federal student loan forgiveness, even if they applied and were declined in the past.
To help borrowers learn about the special opportunity for loan forgiveness under the limited waiver, ALA encourages library workers to attend one of a series of free webinars with student loan experts. Sessions will be hosted by the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Coalition, of which ALA is a member.
The next session will take place on Wednesday, March 2. Sessions will be recorded and posted online.
