The deadline to apply for the 2025 Georgia Archives Institute is midnight Saturday, March 15. The Institute will take place from Monday, June 2, to Friday, June 13, again at the Georgia Archives, located in Morrow, GA, just outside Atlanta. Christina Zamon, Head of Special Collections and Archives at Georgia State University, will serve as primary instructor. Preservation of Archival Materials will be taught by Tina Seetoo, Preservation Manager at Delta Flight Museum. Born-Digital and Digital Preservation will be taught by Katherine Fisher, Head of Digital Archives, Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, & Rare Book Library, Emory University.
Tuition is $550 and enrollment is limited to 20 students. The application will open on Saturday, February 1. There is an application fee of $75, but if your application is not successful, your fee will be refunded.
