Would you like to expand your professional network and contribute to the advancement of college libraries? Serving on a committee is a great way to become involved in ACRL and make an impact on our profession. If this sounds interesting to you, I encourage you to volunteer to serve on a 2018-19 College Libraries Section (CLS) committee.
How to apply
The time is now! Please visit http://www.ala.org/acrl/membership/volunteer/volunteerand complete the volunteer form no later than February 15, 2018. You will be asked to login using your ALA member ID and the password you created. Be sure that you are a current ALA/ACRL member before attempting to login.
Must I attend ALA Annual and Midwinter meetings in order to participate?
Onsite attendance at annual and midwinter is not a requirement of committee service. However, members of CLS committees are expected to fully participate in the work of their committees, whether they attend virtually or face-to-face.
