The Journal of Consumer Health on the Internet is seeking guest authors for the “Consumer Resources Review” column for 2022. This column should review a consumer health website, such as AVERT or NIDA for Teens (previously reviewed). Sites do not necessarily have to be .gov or .org; they can be any credible online consumer health resource out there! This is an opportunity to highlight a variety of excellent resources, communities, and/or education for any number of populations, groups, ages, etc.
The column should consist of a full site review and must include screenshots – permission from the site owners is required prior to column submission to the editor. The column should be about 7-9 pages (approx. 1800-2000 words and several images). Guest authors will work with the column editor who will be available to answer all question, will review and edit the column, and will submit the final package of screenshot permission, screenshot files, and completed column to the journal editor.
If you are interested in submitting a column, or have questions, please contact the column editor, Kat Phillips, at kec5013@psu.edu. The submission deadlines to Kat Phillips for 2022 are Friday, April 1; Friday, July 1; and Saturday, October 1. Also, please feel free to share this call with any individuals, groups, or organizations you believe would be interested in exploring this opportunity.
