Please consider sharing your ideas at the virtual Health Sciences Librarians of Illinois annual meeting on September 7-9, 2022 (Wednesday-Friday). This year you have the option of presenting your ideas as either a poster or a lightning talk.
Proposal Types
Lightning Talks
The afternoon of Wednesday, September 7, has tentatively been set aside for sharing experiences! Each presenter will be allotted 5-10 minutes to share their project, depending on the number of abstracts that are accepted. There will be ample time afterward for Q&A and lively discussion.
Posters
Ideas can include, but are not limited to, any area of librarianship such as instruction, leadership, program development, communication, collections and collection management, outreach, and evaluation.
If you have presented, or plan to present, a poster at another meeting this year (such as MLA or Midwest Chapter/MLA), recycling content at HSLI is totally okay! Since this year’s Conference is virtual, it will allow our members who can’t travel to have the opportunity to learn about your work. The posters will be virtual with a Q&A for presenters immediately following the lighting talks on September 7.
