The Illinois Library Association invites you to participate in a survey which investigates how libraries of all types (including academic libraries) partner with emergency response organizations during community-wide crises from natural disasters such as extreme weather or flooding, to pandemics, water crises, homelessness and other emergency situations. This survey is a part of Libraries as Partners for Emergency Preparedness and Response in Times of Crisis, a grant-funded project through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) National Leadership Grants for Libraries program [LG-254819-OLS-23]. ILA is proud to serve as an advisor for the project to increase understanding of libraries’ role during emergencies and for the safety and resiliency of the emergency responders and communities that libraries serve.
