We are writing to ask you to participate in research about academic librarians’ acquisition of teaching skills. The purpose of this study is to learn more about how academic librarians are learning to teach, as well as how they continue to develop their teaching skills. Any person who has an MLIS degree and is working in an academic library with teaching responsibilities is encouraged to participate.
If you choose to participate, you will first receive a screening survey that will take no more than 5 minutes to complete. Results from this survey will only be used to identify potential interview participants and will not be published in any way or used as a part of the study. Researchers will follow up with potential participants within two weeks.
Please feel free to share this survey with colleagues who have teaching responsibilities in academic libraries.

The survey will close at 10:59 PM CDT on Friday, January 17.
