If your institution has a Course Reserves collection or department, please consider submitting a response to the IIT Paul Galvin Library’s Course Reserves Survey!
*Galvin Library Course Reserves Survey*
*This survey’s results are not being collected for the purposes of research and will not be published. Survey responses are anonymous unless respondents choose to share contact information. *The purpose of this survey is for the informational use of the staff of the Galvin Library as it seeks to reimagine, reorganize, and refine its Course Reserves service point.
We’re interested in the Academic Library community’s best practices regarding the Course Reserves service workflow, starting with faculty communication concerning the adoption of textbooks and following through all the way to the experience of the student end user. We want to make sure that our Course Reserves practices not only provide the best possible service for all stakeholders, but also run in alignment with library community standards, informal as they may be.
We know there’s a wealth of knowledge among our colleagues, and we’re deeply grateful to everyone who chooses to share their experiences and expertise. If you would like access to the (anonymized) results of this survey, please feel free to reach out to me, at smurphy13@iit.edu, or include your contact information in the survey itself. Please also feel free to share the survey link with any other interested staff in your institution, such as your Course Reserves Manager or Access Services Librarian.
