My colleague Rosie Hanneke and I would like to invite interested librarians to participate in our research study on the use of videoconferencing software for scheduled research consultations by academic health science librarians. The survey will gather data on how librarians are currently experiencing interest in video consultations, approaches to best or sustainable practices, and the advantages and challenges encountered. The survey also asks for some general background information about the participant and their institution, including information about other research assistance offerings and library use since the pandemic. The study has been reviewed and determined exempt by the UIC’s Institutional Review Board (#STUDY2024-0788).
The survey is expected to take 10-15 minutes to complete. Most of the survey consists of multiple-choice questions, but there are also some short answer questions.
If you would be interested in participating in this study, please go to this link. This survey will be open until Friday, September 6.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to either me, Amelia Brunskill (abrunsk2@uic.edu), or my co-investigator, Rosie Hanneke (rhanneke@uic.edu).
