The ACRL Health Sciences Interest Group (HSIG) Programming Committee is looking for health sciences/instruction librarians and other education professionals to present their tips and tricks for engaging online instruction. The aim is to help health sciences librarians gain useful skills, strategies, and activity ideas. Here are some potential areas of coverage we are looking for:
- general strategies for online interaction and engagement
- asynchronous instruction strategies
- synchronous instruction strategies
- accessibility issues
- specific tools and software [breakout rooms, using polls, web conferencing products Learning Management Systems (LMS), etc]
Please submit a proposal by Friday, May 8, via this form. We are looking for presentations that are 20-30 minutes.
The webinar is tentatively scheduled for June, 2020. This session will be presented using Zoom.
