The 2022 Alaska Library Association conference welcomes program proposals from any and all speakers, including concurrent sessions, preconference sessions, meetings, and vendor presentations on the theme of “Growing, Changing, Thriving”. The conference will be fully online February 24-27 (Thursday-Sunday), 2022. We are excited for the opportunity to invite library professionals and those that work with them from around the world to participate in our conference as presenters and participants.
We have extended the deadline for proposals to Sunday, October 31, 2021. Applicants will be informed of the committee’s decision no later than November 30.
We welcome presentations on all topics related to libraries and librarianship in 30 and 60 minute concurrent sessions, as well as 2.5 hour workshops. Potential presenters will be asked to provide the name and contact information for all presenters, length of program, type of program (meeting, panel, single speaker, or workshop), whether you plan to stream or pre-record your session, program title and description, and program tags (e.g., youth, academic, rural).
For more information, and to submit your proposal, please visit the AkLA 2022 Conference website.
