The Best Practices Exchange (BPE) 2025 Program Committee is now accepting session proposals for our next unconference, Behind the Scenes: People and Practice, which will be held Monday, June 9, to Thursday, June 11, at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC.
BPE is a community of digital librarians, archivists, records managers, and other information professionals who come together annually to discuss practice, experiences, and lessons learned. Sessions and discussion groups cover topics such as digital preservation, repositories, metadata, digitization, and user experience. BPE is unique in its culture of privacy and respect; attendees are encouraged to share both successes and failures around projects, products, staffing, grant proposals, and more. The community encourages questions that you may be nervous to ask elsewhere. It is a space for novices and experts to learn from each other with the mutual expectation of confidentiality and respect.
View the full Call for Proposals. Submit your proposal via this short form by Friday, February 28. Acceptance notifications will be sent in April of 2025.
