We are extending the call for proposals for the 2019 TxLA Library Instruction Round Table (LIRT) Summit.
Tell Me More. TxLA’s LIRT Summit is a one-day conference focused on topics related to library and information literacy instruction in academic, public, school and/or special libraries. Attendees will interact with other library instruction enthusiasts and learn from one another in a collaborative, intimate, low-stress environment. All who have an interest in library and information literacy instruction are welcome to attend and apply to present (membership in LIRT not required).
When and Where? The TxLA LIRT Summit will be held on September 13, 2019, Sam Houston State University’s Newton Gresham Library in Huntsville, Texas.
Call for Proposals. Please consider presenting your work at the LIRT Summit. Proposals will be accepted until July 15, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. via this form. Any topics related to library and information literacy instruction are welcome in the following session formats:
- 50-minute Presentation
- 20-minute Presentation
- 20-minute Poster Session
Registration Info. Registration will open in early July and will include breakfast and lunch for all attendees. Additional information will be provided at a later date.
