The Association of Research Libraries recently put a call out for proposals for their Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility in Library Archives (IDEAL) Conference in July, 2024. The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility in Libraries & Archives (IDEAL) Conference raises awareness and appreciation of workplace diversity issues through the exploration of theory and practice in the libraries and archives.
Save the date and plan to join us for the next IDEAL Conference, to be held July 15-17 (Monday-Wednesday), 2024, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The theme for ARL IDEAL 2024 is “Sustainable Resistance and Restoration in Global Communities”. ARL IDEAL 2024 will be co-hosted by Carleton University, McMaster University, University of Ottawa, Queen’s University, University of Toronto, Toronto Metropolitan University, University of Waterloo, Western University, and York University.
The deadline to submit a proposal is Friday, September 15, 2023. For more information on the Conference, including proposal-submission instructions, please go here. Registration will open in early 2024. Please contact events@arl.org with questions.
