The Rural Library Network is accepting presentation proposals for its annual E-Summit, which will take place online December 6-7, 2023. The E-Summit is a free professional development opportunity for practitioners working to support rural communities. This year’s theme is “Making Space to Tell Your Story”. Submit your proposal here by Friday, September 15.
Sessions can involve up to four speakers for presentations, roundtable discussions, panels, or workshops. Presentation slots will be determined by Summit organizers and will be a maximum of 75 minutes (including Q&A).
To Be Considered:
- Proposals must be submitted using the submission form above.
- Each proposal must be related to one of the following specific tracks: Education & Capacity Building (Cradle to Career), Advocacy & Public Policy, Equity/Diversity/Inclusion, Health & Wellbeing, and Youth Services. Please indicate whether the proposal is for a panel presentation or workshop. The proposal cannot include both.
- Each proposal should also reference one or more of the following populations and/or issues: Rural Communities, Adolescents & Young Adults, Rural Library Advancing Cradle to Career Education Outcomes, Equity, Mental Health & Libraries, Family or Community Engagement, Differently Abled Communities, Advocacy & Policy, and Indigenous & Tribal Communities
