The Wisconsin Association of Academic Libraries (WAAL) Conference Planning Committee invites session, poster, and lightning talk proposals for the conference “Alphabet Soup: Finding Meaning in Academic Library Work”, to be held virtually on Wednesday, August 7.
Sessions, poster, and lightning talks should engage with the theme “Alphabet Soup: Finding Meaning in Academic Library Work” in a broad way. IL, IF, EDI, OE, AI…what does it all mean?! Focus topics include information literacy; intellectual freedom; community outreach; equity, diversity, and inclusion; open education; and artificial intelligence.
Join the Wisconsin Association of Academic Librarians for our 2024 conference to unpack our work and reclaim our purpose amidst the many challenges and opportunities in today’s libraries. Proposals are due by midnight on Monday, May 13.
For more details, including instructions for submitting proposals, please go here. Also please see the conference website for details on a proposals workshop on Wednesday, May 8, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.
