The Call Number with American Libraries podcast producers are looking for your stories about sustainability in libraries!
Their May episode centers on sustainability in libraries. For one segment, they are hoping to feature a compilation of 30-second audio clips describing a sustainability practice that library workers have at their libraries. These clips are due on Wednesday, May 1, and so far, there are not enough submissions for them to run the segment! Please consider taking a minute to share what your library is doing.
In a maximum 30-second length audio clip, please:
- Start by introducing yourself, including your full name, your title, and your workplace or location
- Answer: What is an example of a sustainability practice you follow at your library or institution? (Feel free to go in as much detail as you’d like in the time allotted)
No need to have a fancy recording setup. Using your phone or laptop’s voice recorder in a quiet room will do. When your clip is ready, you can send via e-mail to Diana Panuncial, at dpanuncial@ala.org, with “Call Number SustainRT clip from (full name)” or something of that nature as a subject line. She can accept e-mail attachments or DropBox / Google Drive links, also. Thank you so much for your contributions.
