The Journal of Electronic Resources in Medical Libraries (JERML) is a peer-reviewed publication dedicated to the evaluation of electronic resources in the health sciences. As an essential journal within the field, it aims to chronicle trends and innovations that serve professionals working in medical libraries. The current issue is seeking contributors for the “Information Rx” column, which previews emerging technologies and information resources in the medical library profession. While topics may vary, column content should focus on evaluating various tools and resources involved in library services and library-integrated research. This might include assessments of new databases, trending web tools, innovative mobile apps, advanced search platforms, or systematic review software. Article content might also investigate the usability and comparative effectiveness of two or more resources.
Article drafts should be in the 1500-word range and include relevant graphics and references. If you would like to contribute an article, or have further questions, please contact the column editor, Dr. Dan Stuart of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, at daniel.stuart@ttuhsc.edu.
