Call for articles! Journal of Electronic Resources in Medical Libraries (JERML) is now calling for articles for our next 2 issues of the journal. JERML is currently seeking manuscript submissions for publication in the next issue of the journal.
As a peer-reviewed professional journal, JERML is devoted to the access, evaluation, and management of electronic resources in the medical library environment. This journal is an essential resource for academic medical school libraries, hospital libraries, and other health sciences libraries.
Topics may include, but are not limited to:
* Collection development and selection of electronic resources
* Electronic document delivery in medicine and health care
* Enhancing electronic resource user services
* Print versus electronic or combination formats
* Site licensing-what librarians need to know
* Delegating work that involves electronic/digital acquisitions
* Cataloging-e-books, e-journals, and other electronic formats
* The merger of serial and book formats in the electronic library
* Coping with electronic misinformation, fraudulence, and shams on the Internet
* “E-core” lists in medicine, allied health, nursing, pharmaceutical science, mental health, and other health care fields
* The role of medical libraries with Electronic Health Records
* Cost analyses of digital resources
