The HumetricsHSS team is thrilled to open applications for teams from institutions of higher education interested in attending the inaugural Values-Enacted Leadership Institute (VELI) from Sunday, July 13, to Friday, July 18.
Since 2016, Humetrics has conducted workshops, consultations, and research across a wide range of higher education institutions, helping units identify their values and operationalize them to transform their institutions. While many leadership programs focus on individual development, VELI will build on the HuMetricsHSS experience to provide an opportunity for teams of administrators, faculty, and staff to work on lasting transformation in higher education, guided by common purpose and rooted in shared values. The Values-Enacted Leadership Institute (VELI) enables teams to uncover and leverage the influence, resources, and capabilities they already possess to create meaningful institutional transformation.
Applications are welcomed from teams from research universities, community colleges, and liberal arts colleges, including historically Black colleges and universities and other access-oriented institutions, and teams may receive support through generous grants from the Mellon Foundation and the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation to enable their full participation.
The deadline is Wednesday, February 12. To find out more and apply, visit here. You may also register here to attend an informational session on Tuesday, January 21, at 11:00 AM CDT.
