The Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI) and its Open Educational Resources Committee have developed the “Illinois Course Materials Survey: Student Perspective” to help identify Illinois students’ needs regarding affordable course materials and interest in Open Educational Resources or other affordable course material options.
Beginning on Wednesday, April 5, CARLI invites those at Illinois not-for-profit institutions of higher learning (community colleges, private colleges and universities, public universities, and others) to share via email with their students the “Illinois Course Materials Survey: Student Perspective”. This survey has been approved by the University of Illinois’ Office for the Protection of Research Subjects. The survey may be distributed throughout 2023; it can be shared during more than one academic term. Learn more about this survey, view two possible student outreach messages for distributing the survey to students, and view a review version of the survey questions without completing the live survey on the survey project website.
