On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM CST, the Center for Research Libraries will host a webinar dedicated to CRL collections and services. This semi-annual webinar provides information about special CRL collections, services, and programs available for members, including CRL’s Global Resources programs and partnerships, which work to preserve, and enhance access to, library materials and resources worldwide. Furthermore, the event is a great way to familiarize new library staff and faculty with CRL resources, among them loans and digital access; to update staff about collections, programs, and digitization activities, including CRL’s e-resources licensing program and the eDesiderata platform; and to orient newly-enrolled CRL libraries on getting the most from their investment in CRL, particularly by participating in cooperative collection-development and requesting research consultations.
