Please consider participating in a research study being conducted by Dawn Harris, Bridgit McCafferty, Johnnie Porter, and Sandra Desjardins titled “Wellness Programs in Academic Libraries”, reviewed and approved by the Texas A&M University-Central Texas Institutional Review Board. We will be publishing our findings in an ACRL publication about Innovative Library Workplaces.
All academic library workers are invited to participate in this survey. We ask you to share this call for participants widely among academic library staff and colleagues. We will be studying wellness programs in academic libraries. The purpose of this study is to identify which wellness programs are currently offered at academic libraries, and which programs might benefit library employees. The goal of the research is to examine the prevalence of wellness programs in the academic library work space, and identify the potential for growth. This survey should take about 5-10 minutes to complete. We hope to aggregate information across different library contexts. This information could be used to improve how libraries function in the future.
This survey closes on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
